Halo 4 will support Microsoft Surface tablet

Microsoft’s Surface tablet will work with Halo 4.

Xbox executive Don Mattrick confirmed the news during a panel at the GameBeat 2012 conference.

No information was given on how the game would work with the tablet but its possible Microsoft could use it with the SmartGlass technology revealed last month.

This would allow Surface tablets to be used as secondary touch-screen displays for the game.

Halo 4 will be available from 6 November on Xbox 360.
