THQ cancels Insane

THQ has cancelled the development of next-generation trilogy Insane.
Insane was to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro but THQ have scrapped the game to focus on other titles.
THQ president, Jason Rubin, said: “By cancelling these explorations outside of our core business, we feel we can improve focus on our core game portfolio, which remains unchanged.”
Rubin also confirmed that Saints Row 4 would be released in 2013.
He added: “I think it will have as good sales, if not better sales than the last one.”
The cancellation of Insane comes after Rubin spoke about making changes to THQ’s business strategy.
