God of War: Ascension given EU release date

Sony has given God of War: Ascension a European release date of 13 March.

Other dates include a 15 March release for the UK and 14 March for Australia and New Zealand.

A Special and a Collector's Edition of the game will be available on launch.

The Collector's Edition includes an 8-inch Kratos figure, a steel book game case, the official soundtrack, a PS3 dynamic theme and avatar pack, double XP bonus for multiplayer and a DLC pass to unlock all future DLC at no extra cost.

The Special Edition features a premium steel book game case, soundtrack, PS3 dynamic theme and avatar pack and the double XP multiplayer bonus.
